Darren McFadden RB Arkansas

There's our new weapon folks.

Honestly, as exciting as i know he will be, i wasn't ecstatic with the pick. I don't know why. I had the same feeling when we picked Michael Huff #7 overall. I know we are getting a rare talent, but my gut says we could've went another route.

Guess that's why i don't run the organization.

Regardless of my initial feelings, I am proud to have a potential home run hitting, blue chip franchise running back to go along with our #1 overall QB JaMarcus Russell. Along with TE Zach Miller & the remolding of the OL with Robert Gallery & Kwame Harris, i hope we've finally set the pieces for a good foundation to come.

That's after the first pick.

The only pic today.

There is still much talent to be had in the 2nd day of the draft. Without a 3rd rounder, Oakland could see to acquiring more picks to gather more talent for the upcoming season. Look out for them trades Raider Nation!

Stay tuned, the real DRAFT comes at Halftime!

I just hope people don't expect a 'Adrian Peterson' like impact o this team, as both are different backs, and both teams have vastly different situations. I have a feeling that he won't have a Peterson type impact, and many will complain about it even though it will be one season into his career.
