Raiders Week 1: Amazing! Unbelieveable!
Posted 09-09-2008 at 05:12 PM by Brazy
As the I watched the monday night game vs. the donkeys, I felt a de ja vu of back to the last Monday night opener at home vs. the tijuana light sockets.
I was sick to my stomach.
But then my "fan"ness kicked in and as soon as the gun went off to end the torture, I thought:
-Week 1 is not a season lost. Appreciated to see that type of attituted from the coach. I hope it resonates through the locker room.
-Good to see the no quit attituted and put two touchdowns on the board
-JaMarcus can play and I'm excited about his future
- It's a team game, but the Defense didn't pull their weight. Is Derrick Burgess still on the team? Even before he left with what Kiffin said was a shoulder, he was non-exisent. Don't know why he's in coverage on 2nd and long and not rushing the QB. the Defense Missed tackles, was out coached, showed no disipline. I like to think 2 out of 3 are correctable a.s.a.p.
-Not sure I agree with the homie in the black hole that kiffin must go, but I let Jano earn his fist round money and kick anything under 60 yards. All day, every day. Especially down by 17 or whatever it was. I for sure don't punt.
-On to KC and trying to get that first W.

Its so nice you can see a silver lining. I love my Raiders but this was such an upset after having so much hope in my heart. Our defense was the weakest I've seen in 2 years! No doubt some of our players werent awake through the game! Im tired of excuses, I've seen my 7 yr old sons football team connect better plays than what I seen last nite! I was disgusted! And where the hell is our O-line....wake up guys! No blitzing, no runs? Jamarcus has one hell of a pass tho, i must admit! I mean by god give the ball to Fargas atleast he was able to put some rushing yards on the board! He is the only player that constantly impresses me. We have too much wasted talent here! Its time to earn their money and their names on the back of our respected jerseys. And what about freakin rookie Loyal running all over Hall like that? WTF? I thought it was the freakin twightlite zone and i couldnt wake up from a bad dream!!!
But Sunday against KC is a new game a new day and our boys better show up thirsty for blood! |

Seriously. Looking for blood? So you think THIS will be the week the Raiders don't lead the league in penalties? Why would THIS week be different?
