that only means there is an offer that would be accepted, but the raiders or any other team can better it

either us or the dolphins, were gonna try and top there deal the thing is can we?

The Dolphins will be hard to top cuz u dont knwo what to expect, they traded a 2nd round pick for AJ Feely so I say that 1st rounder fo culpepper is not a reach with this team and we cant top that, but if they are offering a 2nd rounder... a 3rd rounder we might be able to top that with a package deal but the real question is do you think the Vikings will bite on any trades involving players with us anymore? I dont think we gained there trust with the last trade, we'll just have to wait and find out... for all we know the Dolphins could pull out of this trade im sure there still in talks with Brees, if they do then Culpepper is ours but then again if Culpepper goes to the Phins then does that leave Brees to us? quite possibly but we are in a good QB situation right now its either

Culpepper, Brees, Walter, or even Vince Young... I rather go for the veterans then the potential but I think were in a good QB situation right now with all these trade talks and possibilties.

Dolphins are also looking at Mawae and Mcginest....they are making a move it appears...seems like a serious gutting going on there....if they are serious...we wont be able to touch them I dont think...It looks like the Redskins part 2 over there

phins are interested in the same guys that were interested in, call it offseason competition and I feel Al davis will come out on top

give them Mawae, we'll take Culpepper and Mcginest and win this fight cuz Al Davis vs the Phins idiot owner means Al Davis will come out on top 9 times out of 10.. I think Al is gonna win this unofficial offseason war were having with the Phins, Mcginest will more likely be a Raider then a Dolphin thats for sure, Culpepper will more likely be a Dolphin then a Raider, Mawae is a Draw but I think the Raiders will pull something out of there tricks to snatch Culpepper from the Vikings and away from the Dolphins but it also comes down to who Culpepper wants to play for

I would say he would like to play for either team but the Phins more why?

hes from Florida, and Miami is the place that players want to play in because of the enviornment there its suits athletes well, and Culpepper being from Florida is a plus

but he would want to come back to the Raiders because of Moss and San Fransisco is a wonderful place to live as well so this trade can go either way, I think the Phins will offer something outrageous and the Raiders will offer something more tempting and the Vikings will have to make a decision hopefully the decision will be with us and not the Phins.

They are not saying anything that we have not heard already. Al can change that in a flash if he is so inclined.

Another great post, Shake. Keep em' coming man. This one sums up a lot.

Culpepper and McGinest would be two awesome additions. Besides, if Mr. Davis wants someone or something bad enough, chances are he's going to get it. We saw that last year when Moss wanted out of Minnesota. Other teams were intrested yes, but Al wanted him, he was his guy. Everyone was doubting us and what happened? Where is Moss right now?

I hope I can say the same for Daunte.

The article doesn't really say anything, it says that there are teams interested in him but no deal has been made and the interested parties are trying to put together the best package to get him without giving up to much

    DUH!!!!!!!!!

We'll know more tomorrow and NEVER count the raiders out of it, nobody thought that we'd get Randy Moss last year and look what happened.

My prediction, we give the Vikings tyler brayton and a big grab of doritos for culpepper

I can't believe you guys want this stiff....let the Dolphins have him...Profootballtalk.com is reporting he's headed to the Rams for Bulger
    HOLY TOLEDO...TOUCHDOWN RAIDERS!!!

"Here it is. Snapped, spotted. It's kicked. That's got a chance. That is ... good. It's good. Holy Toledo, the place has gone wild. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. There are three seconds left in the game. There are three seconds left in the game. Well, if you can hear me, this place has gone wild. The Oakland Raiders 23, the Cleveland Browns 20. George Blanda has just been elected king of the world.''

If Tyler Brayton is the price for Culpepper then I don't want him, it's not worth it to give up Brayton for him.
