Manning misses another day of Colts camp (AP)

Peyton Manning still hasn't made it to training camp. The two-time league MVP missed his second straight day of Colts practice Saturday as he continues to recover from knee surgery at his Indianapolis-area home. He had an infected bursa sac removed from his left knee July 14 and doctors have instructed him to stay home to avoid risking another infection.

Yeah. ESPN said he would miss camp but be ready for the opening game. I just wonder why he didn't get it done a few weeks earlier when the doctors and Manning knew it was a problem. Makes one wonder, maybe he wanted to miss camp and this was the right reason.

It would be one thing if he had to learn a new program, but I'm sure he has an assisant or someone there helping him with this year's new plays. Bursa sac is a lot easier rehab than ACL recronstruction. I'm sure he'll be back to being a thret in no time

He call his own plays anyway. This is a total non-issue unless it lingers into the late preseason or into the regular season.
