The San Diego Union-Tribune writes that Antonio Gates's sprained left big toe will "almost certainly" keep the tight end from playing Sunday.

The Chargers are calling him day-to-day, but he looks far less than 50% to play. We probably won't know until gametime, but fantasy leaguers in playoff leagues should consider him unlikely to play. This will make it far easier for the Colts to defend LaDainian Tomlinson.
