The Ducks beat the Stars last night in a thrilling game that came down to a shootout after OT. The GWG scored by Selanne was amazing and clinched a playoff spot for the Ducks.

To be honest, I think I'd rather play the Red Wings than the Sharks just to get them out A.S.A.P., watching them win all the time has gotten annoying.
Oh & RaiderDee, your crying-ass Sharks will still fall short of a Stanley Cup Finals berth.

Looks like we got the Sharks in the Quarterfinals. I'm really looking forward to this matchup. An in-state Pacific Disivion rivalry. It's no secret that the Sharks fans hate us.

I called the Sharks chokers because they have fallen short in the playoffs the past few years to a few teams they should've beat (Dallas last year).. San Jose has it's best chance this year IMO. You can make progress all you want but this may be their last chance together to do it. Changes will come if not this year then next, that's the NHL.
Team toughness starts with your Organization leaders (GM, Head Coach, Captain and Alternates) on down. It all starts at the top. Jody Shelley (TOP 10 Enforcer) and Brad (when called up) can fight! Now lets talk Grit? Grier, Murray, Clowe and others have it but I don't see the money guys PM and JT playing with it much. That is where the SOFTNESS lies, your on ice leaders..
BTW- I'm a member of Hockeyfights.com and have seen that fight awhile back and scored a win for Staubz-no need for the video. Brad smoked that little tough SOB 22 in that one.. Shelley is in the playoff lineup
hopefully he and Parros throwdown. Brad is back in the minors.

Well two games down and the Ducks are 2-0 up against the Sharks in this series. Anything could happen in the next two games though. The Sharks have been very unlucky, but Hiller has just been a brick wall, nothing is going through this guy.
Ducks have been doing what they do best: smash mouth grinding it out hockey.
Niedermayer and Pronger are back to their best form since they won the Cup, and they have some very good young players, Getzlaf, Perry, Bobby Ryan, Drew Miller, they'll be elite players in future years.

Well, after the Ducks just TOTALLY F*CKED UP the Sharks, now we have to take care of business against the Red Wings at home. If we win both home games and go up 3-1 it will be a done deal.
