Looks like Kiffen is gonna land on his feet in Tennessee as the new head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers. How do you think he will do?

This is happening just saw on my local news that a contract has been offered but in respect to Phillip Fulmer talks are off until after he coaches his last game saturday. It is also on bspn.com

Good for him. I head Al was trying his best to prevent Kiffin from getting the Tennessee job (making calls, etc.) I guess it didn't work.

Kiffen will not be the coach of Tennessee. He's holding out for the ND job.

it actually said that Lance is "believed to be at forefront of Tennessee coaching search" reported by bspn's Chris Low. Joe Schad of bspn reports "Tennessee athletic director Mike Hamilton has not offered job to Kiffin, but contractual parameters have been discussed".

IMO they are using him to put pressure on their real choice. Just like Arkansas did.

Great coach? A 5-15 record speaks for itself.

Cable has a 2-5 record at the moment, which is actually better!

using that as your criteria(since you defined it) that cant be determined until Cable gets 13 more games under his belt.

Was he not here when JaMarcus was starting his first REAL NFL game after a training camp? Cable came in the the perfect time, and Al set it up perfectly.
