NBA 2008-09 Season Thread

Alright NBA fans another season is getting ready to start and it should be an interesting one. Can the Lakers take the next step and win the title? Or will the Celtics win it again? Who's going to be the sleeper team this year? A lot of questions and I'm sure some people will love the results and some will hate them.

I'm from TX, and of the 3 teams here I like the Rockets, they have Artest now, and if big Softy (Yao) can stay healthy, we should have a chance

Man Kobe better kill it this year I drafted him 3rd overall in my fantasy league.

I think it is still Boston's title to lose, but I wouldn't be surprised if they run out of gas down the stretch or can't make it through the playoffs. Also I think Lebron is gonna take his game to another level, if that's even possible. Don't be surprised if goes for something like 31-9-9 this year.

Man I was just watching an interview with Greg Oden...and he's not Lebron's grandfather...the dude is Dikembe Mutumbo's grandfather. How is he 20 years old???????
