[quote:20b8fc758c="85inthehall"]JERRY RICE: With 151 yards from scrimmage on 9-29 vs. Tennessee surpassed Pro Football Hall of Fame running back the late Walter Payton (21,264) to become the NFL's all-time leader in yards from scrimmage. Rice now has 22,242 yards from scrimmage.

I like rice - always have and this was the most under appreciated and respected record of the year -- emmitt broke the rusing record and it was the biggest thing -- i think this record was more impressive in my mind. I think it was ashame it didn't get more attention.
Rice is as classy as they come and Payton was the best ever.[/quote:20b8fc758c]

Hey 85 -- I agree with you. Something about those three men. You can only be glad we have been able to watch them weave their magic. What great players and great people.
