I will tell you that this is not necessarily a perfect example.
The 9 question "sample peek" they give was completely devoid of the questions that go into ratios, return on investments, etc... Basically the general mathematics questions.
You would be surpised, but the "smarter" a guy is, the more likely they are to get hung up on those questions.
Why? Because they know they can answer it correctly. So they spend a full minute-thirty working it out.
The NFL wants to see EVERYONE, pass on that question. Come back to it at the end. (Hence why you see a guy like Steve Young with a 33. He is one smart Mo Fo. But the Wonderlic would suggest to an NFL team "Work with him to make snap judgements.")
NFL teams are able to get info on HOW the player answered the question, not just "right and wrong"
