As stated earlier, 24 is the number.

I have taken the Wonderlic for work/interview... It's quite easy, when you evaluate the questions themselves, but more difficult when you add in the TIME factor. 50 q's in 12 minutes.

2 or 3 out of 5 questions (or so) are ridiculously simple.

-Something like what is the 18th letter of the alphabet.

1/5 would qualify as NOT HARD, but need to take a minute to calculate...

Such as: At a speed of 75 MPH, how long would it take you to drive 60 Miles? (Not hard at all, but you need to do a bit of math.)

And then, you do get ones that are somewhat hard. (usually dealing with Mathematics by the way.)

Now, I could come up with the right answer on 100% of the questions on the Wonderlic... But 12 minutes get's tougher than you think.

The NFL wants to see QB's not just answer right... They want to see you make a decision to "Pass" on working through the one that require lengthy work. (It's an aptitude and decision making test mixed).

I got a 36, and didn't even get a chance to read questions 39 through 50. I got two wrong from simply moving TOO fast through them (again time pressure)

I also was stupid and did not use the option to "Pass" on answering a question... which would have helped me get to at least 5-8 more Q's

Of the 12 minutes, I probably spent 5 or 6 minutes on answering 4 questions alone.

If I had passed on those, I would gotten significantly higher.

Wonderlic scores (in My opinion) should be judged like so:
SCORE RANGE:
40 to 50 (Well read, good math, very sharp... Don't go overboard and proclaim GENIUS.. It's not that kind of test)
25-39 Solid. Read's at a normal level, works through problems at a slightly above average or average pace.
15-24 interesting score. Not a kiss of death, but I would like to see if they got a lot WRONG or simply didn't get to them
10-14 Great concerns over the test takers comprehension and reading ability.

0-9 would suggest to me some sort of learning disability or severe lack of standard education.

Useful info?
