Just for the sake of discussion - if you control for all the bonehead plays we made on offense, defense and special teams that lead to easy points for our opponents, our defense isn't that far away - obviously yards per rush given up is too high though.

Now comes the uncapped season's veteran player purge. Between now and the trading deadline during the regular season, players most thought could never change teams will be traded or CUT! Yes, I said cut!

Teams also have incentive to start rookies who are not ready and let them flounder, to show proof that the NFL needs a rookie salary cap.
