The spending this off season certainly feels like boom or bust, but as others have said the pay demands are no surprise - he's a 4th overall pick, and was positioned as the most potent offensive game breaker in the draft - that don't come for free...
If we are tight we had the option to trade down the 1st round to save $ and we didn't so pay the man - he has to be in camp...
Plus we still have to sort out Aso's long term deal if we intend to keep him and Burgess....
