I think a thicker border would make it look better.......it would give it more of that 'pop-out' look. Also, I think that you blended A-Rod's right arm a bit much and his leg cuts into his left arm too much. I think that the focal point should stand out a bit more than it does.

Of the two, I like V1 much better.
