Actually it's not a bad idea. The SDMB has a section entirely just for ranting and bitching about life's problems.
Honestly, I think it might be better to break up "Raiders Discussion". Right now it's pretty much the only forum you need to check out. I think part of the problem is that Hot Off the Press only allows certain newsposters to post, and thus every reply turns into "thanks for the news!" instead of actual discussion about it. We could also have the bitching section.
I dunno, just an idea...
