We will have a new HC next year - it will either be RR or it will be some other poor soul from college (or High school) who just wants to break the ranks of the NFL

I just hope LK gets fired and does not quit... so he gets PAID - he deserves it!

The scary thing is it seems, I believe it was reported, that Al is keeping him around because he does not want to buy Kiff out.

For someone whose first priority is winning it seems like he more focused on the money that he has to pay a coach that he does not want.

Lame Kitten admits he doesn't get up extra for division games.

He should almost be fired for that.

He may get away with that against Herm, but not against the players in SD and Shanahole.

We looked like we were half speed out there, and that includes the speedy Howard and Morrison.

Kitten had better steepen up his learning curve.

Hey, I like his swagger, but we got outcoached last night pure and simple. If Ryan was at fault for the loss, I would say fire him....but as bad as the defense was, the offense was just as bad. They knew what we were going to do, and unlike Raider teams of the past....they did stop us.

Flame me, bash me, red dot me. I dont care. We need a guy who knows the job. We have way too many young players in need of coaching to be screwing around.

Al just needs to open up the pocketbook and really pay a guy to really do the job. Getting someone to run the team is not impossible. It is now the time to do it right.
I'm sorry but I DEFINATELY DISAGREE HERE. Kiffin was not at fault for this loss. His gameplan was good. blame JaMarcus for dropping the ball and Curry for dropping it as well. Tose are two TD's right there that could have chnaged the game. Al Davis and RR are at fault for this one FOR SURE

    I see your point, Attyla.

But it's apparent that Al Davis puts as much importance on head coaches as the Chicago Bears' braintrust does on QBs and WRs. I bet he makes a run for Josh McDaniels next year. Whomever he chooses, he's going to have to fork out serious cash to get him.

Guys, one rule I have learned over the years is that while Davis is way too involved in a game that has certainly passed him by to a degree...and moreso every year....he isnt stepping down, he isnt giving up control, and he isnt going anywhere....so any comments of the type are not realistic.

Realistically, since that isnt happening and frankly Kiffin's game plan was terrible Monday, he is the logical choice...and frankly so is Ryan...its is a package deal

plain and simple, his play calling is similar to a high school coach, in fact i believe one could call better plays than him

3rd and 26 and he runs it

he is preparing Russell and McFadden like they are going to fight in the 3rd World War, they know how to play now unleash them to the rest of the NFL!

Kiffin is a great motivator but he has very little knowledge for an NFL Head Coach, we need someone like Mike Martz or Al Saunders to utilize the talent on our offense

can both Kiffin and Ryan give the reigns to an older experianced coach that has spent some time as a NFL Offensive Coordinator, not a college assistant, these would be SMART hires on Al's part:

    Mike Martz
    Jim Johnson
    Dick Lebeau
    Al Saunders

    FIRE ROB RYAN!!!!!!!!

Jay Cutler had like 10 seconds to throw the damn ball MAN!!!!!!!!!

There were no Blizes with the LBS or Safteys..

I know we run man to man, but man if a QB had that much time he can pick a part our DEF even though we have Pro bowl secondary

i know its to early but man our D-line has no rush...If we cant hit Rivers when we play the chargers we are going to get tossed like Denver did to us...I like kiffin, it isn't his fault that the WRS couldnt catch the ball..KEEP KIFFIN!!!!!!!

running on 3rd and 26 in our own territory is a pretty good call, better to do that than try for a 25 yard bomb that gets picked and returned for 6

Sorry, you are a joke if u think lane is the problem here, get real and get your head out of the sand, how can u be so Naive. Kiffin has no authority, his hands are tied, the players know this and it shows on the field, Davis is undermineing him at every turn, the Ryan thing the worst of all. Impossible to be successful as a coach here when your not really the coach. Geez, cannot believe there are still people as blind as u.

I have to disagree! Kiffins hands are tied period! He has limited control, he does not make the defensive decisions which is the main reason why we LOST MONDAY! The offense would have played good had the players EXECUTED!! Kiffin can not catch the balls! We moved the ball over 300 yards! THE DEFENSE SUCKED! NO BLITZ NO PRESSURE EQUALS CUTLER CARVING US UP ALL NIGHT LONG< Blame the DEFENSE COACH not Kiffin.

I blame both defensive coaches: Rob Ryan AND ESPECIALLY Al Davis.

After all, if Al wants to publicly take credit for "helping" out on defense, he darn well better be prepared to take the blame.

    FREE LANE KIFFIN!!!

One problem of many. As long as Al insists on drafting James Jett and Sam Graddy clones instead of Joe Jurevicius-type wide receivers, for example, we'll never have the kind of players we need to win consistently. Too many athletes and not enough football players will not get the job done, folks.
