The GB/MIN game was suppose too be the retirement of Brett Favres jersey but we all know what happened too that plan. Plus the fact that our game is Pacific Standard Time, that's why it's the second game of the double header.

So why not ship the broadcast teams last minute? Why do you think MIA vs NYJ is more of a national game now being offered as such, and Nantz and Simms are there? Because it is the top game they have on that net., thus sending their best team, their no. 1 guys. ESPN did the same. Heck, Nantz and Sims were lined up to do KC vs NE and then they were switched.

GB vs MIN will have more ratings, will always have more ratings in such a format and that game in the landscape of the NFL draws more attention.

It's not as much because of the "marquee" matchup, just that their no. 1 crew always calls the early game on opening MNF.
