I sure think so...
Free Agents signed-
Alfonso Boone DT - Nobody
Jean-Philippe Darche C - Nobody
Donnie Edwards LB - good, but gettin up there
Ron Edwards DT - Nobody
Napoleon Harris LB - I still like him. he's no superstar tho.
Player's Lost-
Jordan Black OT
Kawika Mitchell LB
Lenny Walls CB
Will Shields - Ouchy
Possible losses -
Trent Green
heard Dante Hall may not be back..
Jared Allen - in jail, may get suspended, wanted out of KC anyway..
offense weapons- Damon Huard or Brodie Croyle at QB? i wouldnt be excited about that, even with our situation..
Tony Gonzalez - still great but declining
Larry Johnson- Outstanding, may have too much of the load on him. Misses Tony Richardson i think too..
Same old WRs they never improve on for some reason..
Defensive Weapons-
Jared Allen - See Above
Ty Law - still probowl level, but old..
Tamba Hali - gonna be great
Pretty tough Schedule - http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/teams/schedule?team=kan
To me it doesnt seem like they can win more than 6 or 7 games at most, we'll see..
I thought they would fail last year after losing roaf. I cant see them performing well at all with the shyt happening this year!
They need a new RT, LT, and G badly. They need more playmakers if they want to do anything. There is no way Larry Johnson is going to carry that team again this year -- he isn't that type of back.
The way it is looking at the moment KC is a .500 team at best.
not sure but i am more worried about us NOT sucking at this point.
I think their chances of sucking increase with herm as the ir HC. i used to think he was good but some of the things that have happened since he came to KC have made me change my mind about him.
They did sign a pretty good LT in dameion macintosh.
Chiefs are beatable and we can win and we outplay them all the time but its always us killing ourselves !!! Chiefs don't make too many mistakes.
Hope so because the rest of our division are good and we need a beatable team. Not saying Chargers and Broncos aren't beatable, but Chiefs are much easier.
yeah all of their players are getting up there in age, d edwards, ty law, shields (retired), t green. IMO I think they are on their downfall and we will rise in the afc west taking their place right behind the chargers and broncos. In about 2 or 3 years I see us taking over the afc west and getting back to winning some division titles.
hopefully the 2 wins belong to us this season
