Chiefs D gave up 390 yds

Just so everyone knows.....yes they are hyped but they gave up almost 400 yds....we should be able to move the ball....redzone is our key......they gave up yds and got a ton of TO's.....(which is scary seeing as how we turn it over alot) If we can limit the TO's to 1...we can move on this D....just getting some confidence going...almost 400 yds...but NOONE would know that by listening to the media........F the chiefs...put a Dagger in their heart

yeah we did. But let's take a look at 2 stats that are just a little bit more important than yards allowed:

    Wins: 1
    Points Allowed: 7

I'm not bragging, boasting or talking smack. Just pointing out you can talk about the yards we've given up all day, but when all is said and done, the only thing that matters is that we won.

True but if you read the post I said red Zone was key....I think we can move the ball easily.....scoring in the redzone is our key.....It wasnt that hard of a post...noone didnt say you didnt give up 7 points...noone said you werent 1-0.....but you would have to read it first

Yea aslong as our O-line steps up this week and plays better you wont see us turning over the ball like that. Ill be worrying if KC gets alot of pressure on Collins but I dont see their pass rush being as good as NE..

I totally agree that the key to a victory over the Chiefs on Sunday,is the play of the OL and the D-Coordinators decision as to whether or not we put pressure on Green or just let him sit back there and pick apart our defense. The OL has to player better in order for Jordan to do his thing and they especially have to pass protect and give Collins extra time to find Moss,Porter,Anderson etc.,because he can't handle pressure and will eventually fumble or start throw ill advised passes which will result in picks.

    Two other key points:

1 in the Chiefs defense , a lot of yards were racked up do to passing that was needed due to falling behind early.

2 that goes against them , if not for a ton of dropped passes , including two by a wide open Coles that would have been easy TDs , the damage would have been a lot worse.

I don't think you will be so fortunate that our recievers will be dropping those same passes. So it just might be a long day for the Chiefs secondary.

That is that BRICK WALL defense in full affect. We should be good for 500 yds.

Yes, KC's D gave up almost 400 yds
Yes, KC's D still only gave up 7 points

BUT the reason they only gave up the 7 points was the Jets turned the ball over aboout 800 times.

How many actually think KC will get 6-7 turnovers a game.

Highly unlikely KC's D will get that many turnovers every game. Which brings us back to all of those yards. If KC's D keeps giving up all those yards and less turnovers.l I'm sure all of the smart fans know that is going to led to a $hitload of POINTS.

It still is a soft front seven and a shaky secondary. Coles dropped 2 Touchdowns.

if you guys can rack up 400 on us..then by all means KC will probably rack up just as many against yours.. when Surtain left the game..that is pretty much when the passing game for the jets went into true effect. why because McCleon and Washington both SUCK!! its going to bother me greatly watching Moss line up against McCleon because Vermeil won't keep a designated DB on him all night.. Moss will torch McCleon and have a big game..Surtain can cover any of your wr's just like woodson will be on our's.. but you also have some weak links and more than likely that is where we will attack. i actually feel that you guys will win this game this sunday night.. but it will be close.. either way good luck.

Did any of you even watch the first half? When our 1st team was alkl out there? The Jets were NOT moving the ball up and down the field on us, and I don't think you guys are going to have as easy a time as you think...

the jets beat theirselves the offense was making mistakes remember when kevin mawaes snap sailed over penningtons head and it was a 17 yard loss?all the chiefs had to do was run and touch pennington
