So lets see 12-15 carries using his 8 yard average we should see about 100 yards rushing and anther 20 in recieving!! last year that would have been a joke to make that statement now it is a reality!!

Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please

That's plenty of work for Jordan. He probably won't play much in the preseason finale.
Honestly, we have seen what Jordan is capable of this preseason and I would not risk any kind of injury in this game. I would not play Jordan in either of the final two preseason games. He is just too valuable!
Lets keep him fresh and injury free....

REmember players want reps. He wants to be ready for the opener and that means playing with your teamates. He himself has complained about his lack of patience on the stretch play. I'm sure there are other things that need to be adressed after film study and they can only be worked out on the field.
I say play the guy. I'm not one of those, hide the player types. Jordan has conditioned himself with carrying the load in mind. If he can't get through a couple of preseason games then we overpaid. It would be different if he was a starter under norv for a couple of seasons but he needs the reps just like everyone else. Last time I checked we didn't go against any stellar defenses so we need more reps in all aspects, protection, running, routes, audibles etc.
Look if he gets injured in the first quarter then people will say why was he in there, second quarter, why third quarter why!! Norv is going to balance the risk of injury factor with the need to prepare factor.
Injuries are a part of the game. I just saw Brett Favre play late in the 2nd quarter of a preseason game and he knows the system in and out. If he was injured then people would be all over Sherman his coach.
In the end I think that he needs the 12-15 reps and his teamates need to run the offense with him in there also.
just give him 5 or 6 runs, keep him for the season
Norv said the first unit will play at least the first half and maybe in to the 3rd quater so they probably wont play much at all next Thursday vs the Saints in a short week.

i hope he busts off a big run like a 30-60 yarder...
i really like LJ he has impressed me so far...
I have to admit I would like so see what Jordan can do with 25+ touches but I also understand not taking the chance of him getting hurt. Either way I am sure he will do just fine.
I believe that he can get a good sweat and remain healthy. Our line and offense needs to get used to having the horse in the lineup and making plays. This means that the more confidence he has in the hogs up front the harder he will run in the regular season. That confidence builds and grows in the preseason. Give him his 12-15 touches and take him out then give Zac his 20 and let this team get an identity on the ground, then torch them through the air!!!!!!!!
