I can see where he is coming from, but he has us losing games which I think we can win. I say we suprise them and make the playoffs. Like he said, the AFC West is wide open.

I respect their opinions about the Raiders. Its their opinions and they are free to say or write what they thing. In my opinion I believe they are wrong.. I see the Raiders winning 8-10 games this season.

Charles Woodson and Warren Sapp are two of the most overrated players in the NFL. Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan has an impressive pedigree (son of former Bears defensive coordinator Buddy Ryan) and background (four seasons as linebackers coach for Bill Belichick and the Patriots), but his Raiders defense could come up with just 25 sacks and only 18 turnovers.

Makes me happy when ppl over look our Defense! I want our D to be underrated....so when we are in the playoffs they will know not only did our Offense get us their but our Defense had alot to do with it also. Also look out for our ST unit to make it in the top 4-9, Avazzano of course has his 2nd year with this group of players and we all know that he made a big diff. in his fist year.

i think alot of these guys are overlooking the youth on our D and I think these youngsters are going to blow up and we will have a top 15 to 20 D and with our high scoring D I think we can make a 10-6 record and make the playoffs.

Normally I’d say no because Oakland’s defense still looks problematic, and I’m far from sold on the coaching staff. The Raiders don’t know if they’re going to play a 3-4 or 4-3 style, still don’t appear to have a pass rush, their linebacking is below average and the secondary highly suspect.
WTF? Our linebacking core is at least average, with Jay Foreman, Danny Cark, and (Williams or Morrison, whichever starts). Both Foreman and Clark get over 100 tackles a year, plus Williams is decent. I don't think that this news reporter does any research before he writes, maybe he is just listening to rumors he has heard from espn, who hates us. Then they go on to say Charles Woodson is overrated, this guy is an idiot.

    Thumbs down

Add Randy Moss and LaMont Jordan to an already promising Oakland Raiders offense and what do you get? The Kansas City Chiefs that’s what.
Another asswipe statement by the media.

Guy gets credit for calling Sapp and CWood out. Those guys were playing up to their hype we wouldn't be a crap D. That could be fixed. Cut Sapp and move CWood to safety. I think Turner has the balls to do it.

FYI the coco times has a little rip on Porter this morning saying that his ofseason workout allowed him to practice 2 days before injury. I think CWood got hurt on day 1, right?
