Watched that one live on TV. Colts had the new "zone" defense. Lamonica had trouble with it.

    12 - 7, I loved it.

    27-10, I hated it.

Watched 'em both live on TV

Now that's what I'm talking about, and I watched it live on TV. Had a terrible time staying in my chair.

Someone should have done the "goose dive" on the whole Raven's team. But I watched it live on TV.

They try to tell me that I watched it live on TV, but I seem to want to forget that.

The thought comes to my mind that if I had of owned a VCR and recorded these Raider games I watched live on TV, I would be a very popular person among Raider fans. But when VCRs first came out they were prohibitively expensive and I don't even remember if they were around in 1970.

    Good post, Skull

Can't remember if I watched that game live on TV or not. But it seems that I do remember that the Raiders were ahead and then they threw a screen pass that the Jets picked off and ran in for a TD. But that was a long time ago and I may just be remembering wrong.

Nice summary of research, much appreciated. Also, I got some Mac Dre vids off Limewire last night. I'd only heard his name before you suggested the thizzle dance as an end zone celebration, now I want to find more.
    Good ****, General.

Bleeding Silver and Black for over four decades...42 years and counting !!!

"...there was one constant, one center, one captain, one Original Raider...his name was Jim Otto, his number was 00...for more than a full decade, he was the standard of excellence by which centers were judged in professional football"...
