    Tim Brown

i just got done reading a thread about how Tim Brown will be on the Best Damn Sports Show. So i was wondering do you think that he should sign a one day contract with the raiders and retire. Or should he just play another year. I think that he should retire.

Also what do you think Rice Should do because i have heard rumors that since the 9ers made an ass out of him that he may not retire with them also.

Tim Brown is going to whine about how he can still play in the NFL and how nobody is giving him an opportunity. I think I've seen this interview about 100 times since the year the Raiders let him go. He can't seem to grasp the fact that he is done.

I think Brown should retire as a raider. But I think that Rice should retire as a Raider but will retire as a 9er.

That is for sure. They both should have retired a year or 2 ago.

Brown will forever be known as Mr. Raider. Rice will always be remembered catching Montana and Young's passes. Go with what history will remember you as.

when you retire, you retire as a player not associated with any team. Press conferences with a team are just a way for a player to say goodbye to an organization.

I think that Tim Brown is going to take a coaching position at Notre Dame under Charlie Weiss. I've read that on this site as well as a couple of others. Maybe he'll shed some light on that issue on the show.

    Later.

Tim needs to realize that he had a very nice career, and call it a day. Put whatever problems he had with Big Al aside (when the Raiders released him), sign the one day contract, and let us celebrate his career at one of the games this season. As for Rice, it was nice having him in Silver & Black for a while, but I doubt he will retire a Raider.
