I think Tim is finally realizing it's time to hang it up and persue other venues in his life. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say. Timmy is a Raider and always will be a Raider. Rice will always be a whiner in everyones eyes.

As for Rice, it was nice having him in Silver & Black for a while, but I doubt he will retire a Raider.
exactly come back for a big farewell and call it a career Mr Raider

Good point. Fans of a particular player will remember that player fondly, regardless of the team they retire from. Tim Brown will always be a Raider in my mind, no matter what colors he wore after that.

Tim Brown should just retire as a Raider already... Rice needs to retire as a 49er which he will do

This may not be a popular comment but Brown was a good player for the Raiders but I don't know if I would consider him Mr. Raider. He did sign a offer sheet with Denver at one time and ended up going with Benedict Gruden a guy he was suppose to have a problem with when he left. I would consider Otto, Shell, Blitenkoff, etc. more of candidates for Mr. Raider they played with and have stuck by the team over the years.

Hopefully he won't sign the Postons and then hold out for a better one-day contract.
