    Favourite recent players.

Who have been your favourite players of the last 10 years.
And I mean real RAIDERS. Not guys that played for a year or two.
Otherwise I'd add Rod Woodson, cause I always wanted him to be a Raider and finally he was.

    My favourite 5 are:

    Tim Brown (Mr.Raider)
Steve Wisniewski (one hell of a tough guy)
Rich Gannon (took no sh*t from anyone)
Lincoln Kennedy (a real nice guy)
    and...drum roll please...
Greg Biekert (I really didn't want him to go).

I'd find it hard not to put all of them on an all-time Raider roster. A starting all-time Raider line-up - now thats a different matter...

RICH GANNON -- he took his job as our QB seriously because nobody else presented him with the oppurtunity to be a starting QB, until the Raiders recruited him. As soon as he got the chance to prove himself, he took that chance and ran away with it...all the way to several playoff appearances and a shot at the Superbowl (though, the less said about that SB experience the better). I felt secure that the Raiders were going to win their games because Rich was starting for us, and he took everything seriously and nothing for granted.

TIM BROWN -- he is just a class act. A professional. He is the COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE that is often forgot about because he has not broken any laws or been disrespectful. He had a quiet demeanor to him, even when he was breaking away for the endzone.

CHARLES WOODSON -- what can I say? I am not to pleased with the current situation we are in with C-Wood, but he is the only Raider defensive player that I can think of that has made an positive impact for our defense since the early 90s.

LINCOLN KENNEDY and STEVE WISNEWSKI -- Great players and great guys that were both TRUE Raiders. STUDS. Period.

HONORABLE MENTIONS...Rod Woodson (awesome addition to our team), Greg Biekert, Charlie Garner, Jon Gruden (yes, I said Gruden; I might not care for the guy now, but he really did help revitilize this organization some years back).

I'm old so "recent" is a relative term.

Kaufman played like 4-5 years ago
