Pollack Stays, Jones Goes

January 8
(12:01 AM): UGA DB going pro; DE Pollack likely not...The father of Georgia junior FS Sean Jones says that his son has decided to enter the 2004 NFL draft where he should grade out as a possible late first, or early second round prospect. Meanwhile, all indications are that star UGA junior DE David Pollack will be bypassing this year's draft and heading back to school next fall. While his father says a final decision has still not been made, Pollack has reportedly ended all discussions with agents. Pollack reportedly has said that he would only enter this year's draft if he was assured of being a first-round pick, however, he has apparently been told by a number of scouts and prospective agents that he could possibly slip into the early second round after something of a sub-par season.

Sean Jones eh? Not quite Taylor, but, I'd take him over Dorsett.

Yea, but I like Stuart Schweigert over Jones. Jones is probably going mid second round now, we could get him in the second round if Schweigert is gone.
