soooooo....now that youv'e seen, who's our pick....i'm like a kid in the candy store...like everyone would like to trade down for more picks, however, do we have the money and room to sign them ?

i've always watched the draft, never considered going. I remeber several years ago a fight broke out between the RAIDER fans and the jet fans. I remember Chris Berman making a comment and laughing with his other commentating crew....

man this year is going to be a HUGE draft for us. I hope our coach, Al and our representatives are up for the task. hey, when do the college combines start ? is it after the superbowl takes place ? i don't remember..

Thanks for the link 75. Very good site and good info on available players. If we're not going to grab Roeth, Manning, or maybe Fitz, Al should trade down a few notches so hopefully we can get two first rounders and use them to shore up our defense.

My ideal draft would go something like this:

1st choice: Ben Roethlisberger at #2
2nd choice: Trade down, grab Sean Taylor and one of the DT's, preferably not Wilfork.

Least favorite choice: Al grabs Phil Mcracken DT with the #2 pick. A virtual unknown, Phil played his college ball at Bum**** State in Montana. At 6'7 350 lbs, Phil is purported to run the 40 in 4.3 seconds, bench press 600 lbs and supposedly beat Sam Williams in a push up contest. Al feels that Phil has a "tremendous upside" and a "motor" that never quits.

was that the day AL was on medication or smoking crack ? that was our number #2 pick this year right ?

all kidding aside, a hope Sam Williams turns out to be a great pick.
