Whats in a name? Why does SD HAVE to take Eli
IMO, The Manning Name is the difference between Drew Brees and Eli. SD has far two many positions to fill to waste their 1st pick on A NAME!

My gut says SD trades down, and hopefully the Giants grab the #1 pick and take Gallery so Eli's comming...(Remember that song)?

Well, they should have thought about that one Jay. Yes, i remember that song, by Three Dog Night! I hope Manning goes to NY as well, the NY Press & fans? will chew him up and split him out sooner rather than later there, then in SD.

Hahaha, I can definitely see that happening! I never believed Drew Brees was going to be a good starting NFL QB. The Chargers basically have the original in Doug Flutie and the new version in Drew Brees. Maybe Brees should go play in the CFL for a few years first.....

What i want, what i really, really what, is to roll the Mel Kiper tape on Leaf and Brees. I feel it will sound all to familiar! This just in, these are kids and they are all to human. They aren't the SUPER PEOPLE Kiper and others make them out to be. Kiper's the problem, the league should put a stop to him.
