Latest profootballtak.com mock

Take it for what it's worth, which isn't much.

1. Arizona Cardinals (from Chargers): Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Pitt.

Rumors of a trade between the Jags and Raiders will prompt Denny Green to send his first-round and third-round pick to the Chargers for the best player in the draft.

2. New York Giants (from Raiders): Eli Manning, QB, Mississippi.

Al Davis blocks his AFC West rivals from snaring Peyton's baby brother via the Giants' first-rounder, fourth-rounder, and perhaps running back Ron Dayne.

3. San Diego Chargers (from Cardinals): Kellen Winslow, II, TE. Miami.

Call it a hunch, but maybe the Bolts think they can get back to the future by tapping into the lineage of one of the best players in franchise history.

4. Oakland Raiders (from Giants): Steven Jackson, RB, Oregon State,

5. Washington Redskins: Sean Taylor, S, Miami.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (from Lions): Robert Gallery, T, Iowa.

The Steelers won't be able to resist the opportunity to leapfrog the Browns for the best player left -- and the team's greatest need.

7. Cleveland Browns: Roy Williams, WR, Texas.

8. Atlanta Falcons: Reggie Williams, WR, Washington.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars: Will Smith, DE, Ohio State.

10. Houston Texans: DeAngelo Hall, CB, Virginia Tech.

11. Detroit Lions (from Steelers): Tommie Harris, DT, Oklahoma.

12. New York Jets: Vince Wilfork, DT, Miami.

13. Buffalo Bills: Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Miami (Ohio).

14. Chicago Bears: Jonathan Vilma, LB, Miami.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Shawn Andrews, T, Arkansas.

16. San Francisco 49ers: Chris Gamble, CB, Ohio State.

17. Denver Broncos (from Cincinnati): Kevin Jones, RB, Virginia Tech.

18. New Orleans Saints: Dunta Robinson, CB, South Carolina.

19. Minnesota Vikings: D.J. Williams, LB, Miami.

20. Miami Dolphins: Ahmad Carroll, CB, Arkansas.

21. New England Patriots: Shawntae Spencer, CB, Pittsburgh.

22. Dallas Cowboys: Greg Jones, RB, Florida State.

23. Seattle Seahawks: Marcus Tubbs, DT, Texas.

24. Cincinnati Bengals: Karlos Dansby, LB, Auburn.

25. Green Bay Packers: J.P. Losman, QB, Tulane.

26. St. Louis Rams: Philip Rivers, QB, N.C. State.

27. Tennessee Titans: Randy Starks, DT, Maryland.

28. Philadelphia Eagles: Lee Evans, WR, Wisconsin.

29. Indianapolis Colts: Will Poole, CB, USC.

30. Kansas City Chiefs: Michael Clayton, WR, LSU.

31. Carolina Panthers: Joey Thomas, CB, Montana State.

32. New England Partriots: Michael Jenkins, WR, Ohio State.

That way with Dayne, we would go for Taylor, grab a WR in the second. I say Keep Dayne give a third round pick get a WR and trade the two 4 rounders for Couch and lets go

This is by FAR the worst mock draft I've seen yet...

Arizona isn't trading up to #1 to get a WR... that's pretty funny... I think this mock was done while someone was drunk.

So you're saying we're definitely not going for a runningback in the first round? Just wondering. Thanks.

I like the idea of making sure Manning ends up in the NFC, but WDR is right, most of it is pretty thowed.

I can't sit here any say who we are going to take, b/c there is SO MUCH talk right now about everything, NO ONE knows... Not even AL knows right now who he is taking...

Just got people in his mind.... That's about it..

It's all about gameplan.

As to your question though, no, I don't see us taking Jackson with the #2 pick or anything a bit lower.

Willis my man,

Is there any truth to Jacksonville offering us Darius and a 3rd with the #9 for Fitz at #2? If so, would Stephen Jackson be a consideration at #9? Also, do have any definitive info on whether or not we are pursuing a trade of Chuck and what he might command? Thanks.

Fitz was Moss' vikings team ball boy when Denny coached there. Interesting possibility for that fact. But AZ needs a pass Rush desperately, Denny will go DE, an every down type.
He needs a Doleman/Johnstone type to play there. One big time pass rush end and an OLB/DE hybrid. Two of his first day picks will be be D.

The O has a good back, big O line, and some talent at skill, one more WR will rounmd it out and a mid to late special teamer/pass catch rb. Denny is in a tough division, and McInnis had a monster schedule last year and was nearly .500, add a rebuilding Niners to the pic, and you could be looking at a division winner.

Lots of AFL style action for Denny. ADD A PASS RUSHER, SO WHEN TEAMS TRY AND KEEP UP ON THE SCOREBOARD THE PASS RUSHER CAN GET ENOUGH BIG PLAYS TO WIN YOU THE GAME.
