So You Want To Go To The NFL Draft?
Where: The Draft is at Madison Square Garden, between 31st and 33rd (Im pretty sure, RINY, is this true?)
When?: April 24th (Rounds 1-3) April 25 Rounds 4-7 Chargers are on the clock 12:00 pm on saturday (24th) chargers are on the clock at 11:00am sunday (25th)
Each first round pick takes 15 min, second round ten, five minutes for the remaining rounds
How Much $$$?: The Draft is free, and it is a first come first serve basis. MSG fits 4,000 fans where the draft is?
What Time Should I get there?: Get there between 5:30-6:00 am and youll be a shoo-in to get into the draft. If you came an hour or 30 min later you will wait forever and you might not even get a ticket. Last year you could buy tickets the night before (there were only about 50 tix available then, though) I dont know about this year
You will wait awhile. Bring some reading if you want, but there are also plenty of knowledgable NFL fans and then several drunk jets and giants fans (but not as many as youd expect)
If you live anywhere near NYC and you know who Ben Roethlisberger is, you must go to the NFL draft. I will probably go on the second day too, but most of you guys would find it a little boring because some of the picks you may not know about at all. (Derrick Ward, anyone?)
Any other questions PM me. Any questions about hotels or food in the NYC area, ask RINY, i have no clue about that.

Greeat Info man!
Last year, people camped out very late on Friday night when I was around there...the following morning, I found out that those folks got tickets to be admitted early before anyone else
If im not busy that night before the draft...Imma see if I can get 'em!

I'm planning to take a 1:40 train that arrives at the Garden at like 2:45 a.m.
Somebody come find me, I'll be wandering around, dazed, in my RFN t-shirt, carrying a novel or two, plus a plethora of draft guides and probably a very large coffee/soda.
(The next train is at 5:30 and won't get in until 6:30. I'm not taking any chances. I even took Friday off from work, to sleep all day. I wanna meet y'all.)

Hey Ace, since I know you'll be there early...
We could meet up, guarantee we get in and try to hold down a section for us Raider fans...
Last year I had a great seat, next to the ESPN telecast...Boomer and the rest of the fellas about 20 feet away...cameras were on us and the view was awsome of the stage!
I dont know what i'll wear but, you could find me easily due to the fact that i'll be with a 350 lb. mammoth who will wear a Dolphin Chambers jersey...And i'll be coming out of the subway station escalator!
if you want...
pm me and i'll give you my cell # to communicate the day off...
