RB in the draft
it seems we are trying to get a feature back either through free agency or by trade. Well how about we trade down, pick up some extra picks, and draft this guy.

Im very high on Jackson. I saw him a few times, and needless to say, he is the best and most complete RB in the draft. But there is depth at the RB position, here is who we could get by round
1. Our current pic: no one, but we could trade down
2. Greg Jones or Chris Perry will fall to us if we want. The Steelers are high on Jones and he will be taken before Perry and when we pick
3. Julius Jones and Michael Turner will be available, as well as Tatum Bell, who has helped his stock with solid workouts
in day two there are some names, but no one will be able to challenge Fargas and Wheatley for the job there

I'd think Michael "The Burner" Turner would be a perfect pick in the 2nd round. He's got the size and power to excel in our offense, he's got solid speed (4.45 I think), and he's a decent pass catcher. He'd be a perfect complement to Fargas's speed and slashing and isn't as worn down as Corey Dillon.

We need Greg Jones, if we can trade up a little in the 2nd to get him we should,.Stephen "Action" Jackson looks solid too, although at a higher price.

What about Tatum Bell from OSU?

there are only a couple of teams that figure to take a RB that high... Dallas, Pats maybe Donks or 49s . We had better find a rb who can catch if RG is gonna be there.can Dillon catch?I can't see G Jones being there at # 45 but if he is i would love to have him.

The Sporting News Draft guide compares Julius Jones to Charlie Garner. Didnt know he was that kind of a back.
I would love to get him in the third.

Get Dillion, don't draft anyone. I can't believe how underrated this guy is. He was rushing for over 1000 yards a year running for the bungles

What's so wrong about taking jackson at #2 if you want a guy you take him you never know some other teams might be just as high and jump up and grab him.

Tatum Bell is a Fargas clone. Michael Turner is someone I've suggested on the Discussion Forum numerous times. Cedric Cobbs 6'0 221 4.47, or Quincy Wilson 5'9 214 4.62 would be nice in the 3rd. Adimchinobe Echemandu 5'10 219 4.52 would be a good 4th rnder.
