Raiders watch Manning workout
No big surprise here. Jimmy Raye was on hand, along with about 50 other NFL people, to watch Eli Manning and JP Losman work out, according to NFL.com. Losman was good, Manning was better, though not as good as big brother, according to the story.

To no one's surprise, people left this workout feeling that he has the chance to be a franchise QB.

I just thought of something. Id love to have manning, but if we drafted manning, in 5 years or so hes going to need a new contrac, and if hes a franchise QB and puts good numbers up, hes going to want some mad scrilla. Al wont pay that much money for a QB IMO.
So i believe if we draft eli, hed only be on our team as long as his contract lasts.....

Hey,
We are in good shape if Manning is our worst case.
Gallery, Fitz, Manning. None are chices that I would be unhappy with. Happier with Gallery, but we are talking degrees here.

Yeah. I would much rather have a Trent Dilfer that can manage the game, and not demand 34 mil upfront.
