Lions shopping #6 pick
Lions shopping #6 pick...A report out of Detroit indicates that the Lions have already talked to several teams about the possibility of dealing down from the #6 pick at the 2004 draft. In particular, the Lions have reportedly talked with New England about a potential swap of the sixth for the Patriots' two #1 picks, the 21st and 32nd selections overall. The Lions, who are still very much in a rebuilding mode but currently have only 6 total picks in this year's draft, are looking to move down, in large, to acquire more picks. The Lions, though, may also feel that the players they would get with the 6th, while quality prospects, wouldn't necessarily address the team's top priorities heading into the off season.
