First I just want to say what's up to everybody as I'm a new member!
I believe we should try to trade C Wood ( I hate to see him go but too much money for what he delivered last year IMO).
We try to get another 1st round and second round pick.
Then we release Gannon and pick up some FAs.
First we pick up Garcia so we have a Qb with deep arm threat and mobility.
Then we pick up Wiley from San Diego and Springs to help our D.
Then with our picks we go with Mike Williams first and then Taylor with our other pick in the first round.
Then we select Perry so we have a RB for the future and Igor from Oregon to once again improve our D.
This gives us youth and should be possible with the cap as well. I think we would have a team to be feared for years to come.......not just 1 year to come.

I agree with that! I think Igor looks promising but he isn't going to go in the first round. I didn't see him on any mock drafts in the first round until people started talking him up on the boards.
Well even if he isn't around in the second round then I think we'll get another strong Defense tool to groom for the years to come.

I would prefer Issac Sagopoga instead of Igor

Woodson for a first and second then trade down to Houston getting Henson and a fourth for our #2

We could have

Henson at QB, Roy Williams WR, DeAngelo Hall CB
Sapopoga and Marquis Hall in the second DT and DE
OL in the third
S and LB in the fourth

We would have a large injection of youth with would contribute next season.

igor had one hell of a combine which is why he is in the late 1st round consideration, along with jason babin (DE Western Michigan).

The Blackness....We could use the money we save not re-siging Woodson and Gannon(which although we still take a hit will save of us some) and then free up more cap space in jUne with final cuts and Restructuring some vets contracts( i.e. R. Woodson,) and we still are 7 millon under the cap as we speak.
Just an idea!
As far as Perry or another RB I don't care as long as we get another young back with the hopes that next season they will be ready to let Vargas and that new back take over.
Just thinking to the future.
