Lightbulb Some FA's that may effect our drafting????

Just read on KFFL, that the Dolphins hae released Db-Jama Fletcher & S-Brock Marion.
Both of these positions are a need for us.Also last year or 2 years ago, the dolphins were considering the release of Marion & Oakland had high interest in him then.Fletcher is decent & has youth still on his side, if for no other reason could add depth & competetion...Marion could be brought in to team in the back field w/ R.Woodson

Any thoughts??

I would love to have Marion or any safety other than what we've had lately, don't know much about the other guy so can't comment on him. I also heard we are interested in their FA defensive end Adewale Ogunleye.

Fletcher was a 1st round CB bust.

Marion isn't the same guy he was in recent years. I have to wonder if he's even worth the effort.

Chester? Not funny, man.

Fletcher would be an upgrade on Love/Shaw

Signed him play him as Nickel Back

He sucked as a NB on a team w/ a pass rush. He'd be brutally bad here. No thanks. He's certainly not an upgrade over Love.

Besides, We already have Asomugah to play the nickle. Time to let the boy get on the field and learn on the job.

Problem at saftey is Gibson was a first round pick and pretty much has to play or be cut.

I've been suggesting we move gibson to a LB spot & bulk him up.he was only 10-15 lbs lighter then LB Eric Johnson

Gibson played at 225-230 pounds last season. He put on weight during the offseason which was noticable. Same was true about Napeolean Harris.

.... He doesn't have the instincts to be a OLB, to stubborn is slow in reacted aganist a pass. He's better when you just ask him to cover a Tight End or stuff run. Too much reaction for Line backer. Plus, you have to be somewhat smart to play LB and Gibson is the dumbest ****er on our team.
