Shawn Andrews Allegedly Weighs 402 lbs!

Arkansas offensive tackle Shawn Andrews has reportedly weighed in at 402lbs! At this weight he's unable to take part in any serious workouts and is in Arizona with a nutritionist trying to get his weight down. Expect His teammate Tight End Jason Peters to start rising up the draft boards. Weighing in at 320+ pounds, he's running in the low 4.8 range.

www.******************

You know how much $$$ hed lose if he was that big?

Potential steal. Don't forget, Lincoln Kennedy once had weight issues.

So did Aaron Gibson. Andrews does have a ton of potential and he will go in the first round, but 402lb for someone who played tackle is nuts. He reminds me of Larry Allen and Leonard Davis though, and if he can get all of this sorted out he could be a steal as you said. Just something to think about. He slimmed down to 335 during the season, worked really hard at it too, seems a little strange he fattens up right before the Combine.

No chance that continued problems with his weight could drop him to around the mid 2nd, eh? He'd be a helluva guy to pair w/ Collins at guard. Talk about a power running game.

yea if we could somehow pipe in the smell of cheeseburgers we could lead him in the direction we needed him to block and the other team wouldn't have a chance

He could wind up like the guy from the Bear "The Refrigrator" I forget his name, he always had a weight issue that finally made him retire but while he played you could not stop him

Nobody knocked Mo or Middleton until last year. Let's just put that behind us. The whole team sucked, so slamming individual players is pointless.

Mo will get back to form and be one of the top guards in football again. Frank is on the way out if he doesn't restructure his deal. We need to find another big bull to line up next to Barrett. The power running game is all about dominating inside. If we can do that, we can have some success this season.

The Answer to our D

Draft Andrews and make him a Nose Tackle. All he'll have to do is just stand there, kind of like a concrete barrier. No one will run on us!

He was also one of the keys to our 2000 running game and a noticeably good pass blocker in '02. He does need to keep his weight in check. Better leadership and a few fines should help.
