Anyone interested? Lets say as a second round pick, I doubt al could resist that if he wasnt shipped by draft day. Course he probably would not be there, but if he was. i bet if hes available in the early second round, Al will trade up to get him. He probably is rusty though, but hes not going to pull a Chad Hutchinson

Technically, but he sucks. Saw him play a few times for the Columbus (AAA) team and he blows. He is property of the Texans until the draft.

He is working out in florida for FOOTBALL. Rumor is Yanks and Henson's agents are working on a settlement for him to be able to sign with Houston then be traded to a team that he would want to go to. As for baseball he really sucks or he was rushed to fast to AAA. I vote for he sucks.

With the loss of Boone to the year, Henson mayget to see more action this spring training. They are shopping for a 3rd baseman, Beltre, Ventura or Hernandez. The possibility of moving Sheffield to 3rd, a positioned he played well for years, is an option.

As for Henson, just saying

Doesnt describe it. He cant adjust to off-speed pitches and breaking balls. His fielding is ok but, his ability to find a decipher a pitch while he is in the batters box is just very bad. He's an awful situiational hitter and isnt developing the way the pinstripes thought.

Texans own him till the draft and, it looks like they are going to lose him. They have Carr, Henson wont sign, making him a eligible player to be chosen in this upcoming draft!

Is he worth a 2nd pick?

Yes, if he absolutely says he is going to be able to be a football player FULLTIME! He has a good arm, vision and skilled tools to become a better pro QB than Tom Brady, a guy who was at Michigan when Henson was there. Does he have the poise and ability of Brady?

He has the ability, does he have the poise and/or intangibles as Brady is another question. No one has seen him throw a football for years, and adjusting his body to the NFL game will take some time. Also, adjusting his mind will be that much mre difficult due to the complexity of the game. He is going to need a REALLY good QB coach, an offensive coordinator that can guide him towards his natural talent. Henson will easily be a 2 year project before he even starts in the NFL.

Henson is not an option for 3B and Boone is saying, for now at least, that he will be back this season. Texans plan to trade him. I'm sure there would be a clause on where he could go and the amount of money depending on starting status. I might use a 3rd round pick but not our 2nd.

I also heard or read, don't remember where, that he has been concentrating solely of throwing the football recently and not working on improving his baseball skills.

He may not be an option but, if he's on the team he will get a lon glook in SPring training. As for Boone, that piece of crap may or not be back for the season, its his second major knee injury!

Houston is going to demo Henson for a few teams and then possible do a sign and trade deal. Pitt, Buff, and a couple of other teams interested. Probably will go for a #2 or #3...
