Santana Moss had a great year. He was finally healthy and is Lavernous Cole v2.0 in NY.

And Koren Robinson had a solid season as well.

Actually Steve Smith on the Dan Patrick show was asked if he was returning to the Panthers and he said he didn't know, he was rgoing to speak to his agent.

Not sure what picking a WR in 1-5 has anything to do with anything does it mean he's a sure bet.

Some receivers I spoke of were later 1st picks some were lower, David Terrell was 8, Robinson 9, Warrick 4, Burress 8, Taylor 10

Keyshawn 1 and Westbrook 4 were both very early. The problem with taking a WR, QB or RB high is you have to pay them high 1st rd money and they haven't proven anything.

Any other year if we didn't have so many needs then you could gamble on one player, Fitz may be the next Moss I hope he is if he's our pick. And we fill all our needs through free agency. But this years WR draft just happens to be so deep there will be very good WR's available in the 2nd.

Yea and Moss was the 16th pick, thats what I've been saying for weeks now trade down get the extra pick, take two maybe 3 players in the 1st two rds. WR OL DL DB something.

Robinson @ 800yds 4TDs, his teammate picked 72 picks later Darrell Jackson had 1100 yds 9TDs

I understand he broke college records or tied some, But what I saw was blown coverages or jump balls. He has heart and passion to get to the ball, I didn't say he was a scrub, I said He is not the burner people think he is. Also when he gets to the pro level he will look as slow Keyshawn. His 40 may be comparable to Rice's in his prime but in 20 yrs everybody is faster and more athletic now.
If you watches some of his games, youd see why hes held so high in regard. Some people are just meant mentally and physically to play football, and he is a great example. He runs great routes, beats triple teams and can only be contained when the whole secondary is on him. He will help us imediately and let Porter line up in the slot and get covered less. Fitzgerald is getting faster too, look for him to run a 4.4 4.5 40 come the Combine.

Ok, 1-5 Warrick, Westbrook, Keyshawn, Desmond Howard, Fryer(1984) other then Fryer two are average the other two suck. Whats your point? Just because your drafted top 5 don't mean crap except you get paid more.

And Jacksons only 25 too, he came close to having 3 straight 1000 yd seasons. Wouldn't be a bad FA.

He had some great targets playing with him, his production will drop if we sign him knowing what we have opposed to the Seahags

I would think the trio of Rice, Porter and Jackson would be much better then Jackson Robinson and Engram in Seattle. True Mili was more consistant at TE then what we had going and so was Alexander out of the backfield. The passes to back should open up with any upgrade to our receivers. I just hope we get at least one proven WR in FA to go along with whoever we end up drafting. Or someone finally steps up.

I remember that draft, Moss fell because of some off field and attitude issues, but without those problems very well could of been a top 10 pick...and rightly so, based on his ON FIELD PRODUCTION...

QB in the later rounds

Liebo I was thinking the Raiders grabbing John Narvarre from Michigan... The guy has the Arm just needs to work the mental side of the position. With Norv at the helm.. I think Narvarre could be a bit of a sleeper pick who could take over in a few years..m Pick him in the fourth or fifth round

What do you think

I honestly dont like Navarre that much, but he will probably go in the third round because of his great arm strength. I was left unimpressed with him in the senior bowl, but I have to give him credit for beating Ohio State in a game like that, maybe a marginal starter in the NFL, because he just cant mentally make the decisions needed to be a successful player.
