I fugure alot of movement on saturday but, DAMMM...they really are going out on a limb!

Quote:
PICK 3, RAIDERS (VIA TRADE WITH TEXANS): QB Byron Leftwich, Marshall.
i dont see it happening, we need to start thinking about the future, yes, but by filling our roster up with 2 solid draft picks. Not a trade up to get a QB, that doesnt fill our immediate needs. We have too many holes for a this trade up to happen.
Quote:
PICK 4, PATRIOTS (VIA TRADE WITH BEARS): DT Dewayne Robertson, Kentucky.
Could happen! They need a DT, and this guy is the best. Not only that they have the ammo to pull this off.
Quote:
PICK 5, COWBOYS: CB Terence Newman, Kansas State.
Parcell would take him, they need a CB badly!
Quote:
PICK 6, JETS (VIA TRADE WITH CARDINALS): WE Andre Johnson, Miami
This could also happen, they the picks to move up and they need a big time WR!
Quote:
PICK 8, JAGUARS: OT Jordan Gross, Utah.
only if the raiders move up and take leftwich, wont happen...they want a QB!
Quote:
PICK 15, CHARGERS: S Troy Polamalu, USC.
I hope NOT!
Quote:
PICK 13, CARDINALS (VIA TRADE WITH JETS): DT William Joseph, Miami and PICK 22, CARDINALS (VIA TRADE WITH JETS): QB Rex Grossman, Florida.
this honestly would be a great draft for the cardinals, not bad!
Quote:
PICK 29, BUCS (VIA TRADE WITH PACKERS): RB Willis McGahee, Miami.
I hope nOT!
Quote:
PICK 32, TEXANS (CIA TRADE WITH RAIDERS): RB Lee Suggs, Virginia Tech.
LEE SUGGS IS AWFUL, he shouldnt be a first round pick!

That would blow. We have no business drafting a qb in the first round. I know Al loves the gunslinger type qb's but arm strength is way overrated. Gannon still has at least another two seasons in him providing he stays healthy. Tui has waited patiently in the wings, knows the offense and deserves a shot at the starting job.
This would tell me that Al is going in a new direction with the offense and is not addressing the immediate need for DL help.

If we were able to jump up that far I would LOVE IT!!!!!! And IF we were able to we would not waste it on Leftwich. Terrell Suggs comes off of the board if we land the #3 pick.

And don't ever forget these 3 things:

That trade would rock! Only not for Leftwich, but for Suggs, Robertson, Kennedy, Rogers or Johnson.

Actually, if the Raiders moved up to that spot, I'd love for them to take Andre Johnson. I know it isn't a need, but to have Porter and Johnson as our starting duo would be a pretty cool....

Then again, having Robertson next to Parella... or Suggs coming off the end....or.....

So I know you guys are thinking how great the trade would be, but Florio is an idiot. How do the Jets, with the 13, and 22nd pick, get a higher pick than the Raiders, who get the 3rd for the 31st and 32nd. That's a load of
