Draft notes....

From Sportsline:
There are some teams that have medical concerns about Georgia linebacker Boss Bailey, to the point where they are strongly considering not picking him in the first round even though he is clearly first-round talent. Bailey had knee troubles at Georgia, which is a concern to a handful of teams. Even so, expect Bailey to go somewhere in the middle of the first round.
Good, we'll take him....Bailey, Harris, Barton and ROMO, what a rotation of LB's... im sure Romo wouldnt mind!
Victor Hobson, LB, Michigan: He doesn't run as well as scouts would like, but the guy made a ton of plays in college. He'll continue to make them when he gets to the NFL. He is a tough football player.
Hw wouldnt be bad at around the 3rd or 4th round!
Anthony Adams, DT, Penn State: Undersized at 6-feet tall, he was overshadowed playing next to Jimmy Kennedy, who will be a high first-round pick. But Adams showed up a bunch on tape, and plays with more intensity than Kennedy.
Clint Mitchell, DE, Florida: Another player that has had off-field problems, but seems to have moved past them. When on the field for the Gators, he was a solid pass-rushing end during his career. If he dedicates himself, he could be a Grant Wistrom-type player.

There's nothing wrong with Hobson, I'd like to go and take a flier on him, especially in the 4th round, he'd be a steal there.

Any of the front seven of Bama, Mich, or georgia that slips to 4th oir 5th is going to be a steal... KSU and TCU teams had extremley fast front 7 and they have some players who if theyt slip will be good contributors. The TCU lb is like the 209 range but faster than some safeties.... make him learn the craft from Woodson and play special teams in meantrime with speed and good technique tackles. His size says he is round 5 material. His speed is better though.
These major program lb usually handle the run easy, and that is a necessity for lb, teams run from the standard set 2/3 of time. Finding players who slip who have cover skill or make up for attributes with instinct are the ones to get.
Dont recall many Michigan games but I heard that lb name in few highlights I saw...playmakers...Charles would make him sing the UM fight song for breakfast....get him...

Man if for some reason Bailey is still on the board when we draft, it will make things awfully tempting. There's always the possibility of EJ Henderson as well. Put him in the middle and move Nap back out to his natural outside position., although I like the first scenario even better. I doubt either one will be around when we draft but it don't hurt to dream.
