Assessment:
Brett Williams is often overlooked when people talk about the best offensive tackles available in the draft and I don't know why. Williams doesn't really awe you in any particular area but he is solid across the board and has a ton of experience at a big name school. Has shown that he can be inconsistent at times but he seems to play his best in big games and when he is under pressure. Is fantastic when handling speed rushers and uses his hands to move speed rushers outside of the pass rushing lanes. Williams still needs work with speed rushers but I question the scouts who say he cannot play left tackle in the NFL. Should be drafted by the 3rd round and should go in the late stages of round 2.


I like the fact that he can handle the speed rushers and plays his best in crunch time. Definitely worth a look IMO

I agree. Langston Walker might end up being our starting LT and Kennedy on the RT. It would be good to get a solid prospect to backup and possibly replace Walker at LT when he replaces Kennedy at RT. I do like this guy.
