Draft Update

Onterrio Smith: Had toe, hamstring and knee injuries last season. He missed three games because of the knee, and it was operated on. But he still rushed for 1,141 yards. One NFL college scouting director classifies Smith as "a risk medically, but not a severe risk."

Justin Fargas Even after Justin Fargas' impressive performance at the recent NFL Scouting Combine, many teams are cool to the Southern California back because they think he is fragile. In the course of Fargas' college career, he had a severely broken leg (two titanium rods, 12 screws and two metal plates were inserted during two surgeries), a partial ACL tear and subsequent knee surgery, toe surgery, a dislocated finger and a hamstring pull.

Willis McGahee One team doctor who examined McGahee at the Combine said there is no way McGahee will play this season after having a knee reconstruction in January. McGahee's surgery was successful, and the doctor believes McGahee will recover -- just not in time to play in the coming season.

I'd be happy with any of these guys. Smith can run inside and out, and is fast, bust I guess he's a bit of a head case. Fargas might fit the best to compliment what we already have in Garner and Crock. Since McGahee won't produce next year, I don't see us drafting him. The other guys could at least help out on ST and spell G here and there.

Dont want anything to do with Fargas, great combine... So what! What can he do on the field.
And even after tearing every ligament in his knee, I rather have Mcgahee. This guy wouldve beeen a top 3 pick if it wasnt for the injury. If he wouldve got hurt during a game for us, the same injury, All of us here wouldve had the confidence this guy would be the projected franchise RB everybody thought he would become.
This guy is still young and has massive talent, take him in the 2nd round!

I wouldn't go nuts over Fargas just because he had a great combine, still a lot of health issues with him. I'd take the flyer on Mcgahee if he's still on the board, otherwise I would want a big back like Musa Smith or Lee Suggs.
