Onterrio Smith: Had toe, hamstring and knee injuries last season. He missed three games because of the knee, and it was operated on. But he still rushed for 1,141 yards. One NFL college scouting director classifies Smith as "a risk medically, but not a severe risk."
Justin Fargas Even after
Justin Fargas' impressive performance at the recent NFL Scouting Combine, many teams are cool to the Southern California back because they think he is fragile. In the course of Fargas' college career, he had a severely broken leg (two titanium rods, 12 screws and two metal plates were inserted during two surgeries), a partial ACL tear and subsequent knee surgery, toe surgery, a dislocated finger and a hamstring pull.
Willis McGahee One team doctor who examined McGahee at the Combine said there is no way McGahee will play this season after having a knee reconstruction in January. McGahee's surgery was successful, and the doctor believes McGahee will recover -- just not in time to play in the coming season.
