Latest two-round mock from Ourlads scouting. I posted an earlier version at the Merc forum, but this is the newest, dated March 2.

If we sign a DE or DT we may not draft one in the first. If we want a RB this year we will need a first round pick.
I don't see us getting a QB till the 6th or 7th I want to wait to see who we sign before deciding who we might go after in the first second rounds.

did this "ourlads" guy and Mel Kiper have a slumber party together recently?? I enjoy ourlads, it is one of the best out there when it comes to scouting info, but c'mon.........using our first three picks on "O" and they wouldn't contribute this year or even in 2004....what a piss poor mock.

I post it merely out of interest. I prefer their scouting to their mocks, too. (Mods: Sorry if I put this in the wrong spot initially; I have a bit of trouble getting my posts into anywhere but the main forum.) |

The guy goes onto a Dirt road with his first pick
Leftwitch will not go ahead Palmer,
Boller(QB) will not be a top TEN draft pick, Boss Bailey will not be around after the first Doss will go before Polamalu, and lastly: if the Raiders take all 4th Strings with their first 3 Picks I'll chop my left testicle off Thats right! you can hold me to it...Cause this Mock Draft has about as much logic as Choppin a Testicle does, so thats my deal! Think about it: Rice, Porter, Brown, JACOBS... not even taking Jolley into acct. Gannon, Tui, Tee Martin, GROSSMAN ( would not make the team) Garner, Wheatley (hopefully), Crockett, BROWN??? |

I'll go with popular belief here and say....
What the **** does this guy get paid? He must just sit on his coach eating potatoe chips all day. What a bad mock draft. The first 9 weren't bad, but any idiot with 10 minutes and the internet could come up with that. Kyle Boller at 10??? Yes, he's moved into the late first round....possibly....but teams are shying away from taking QB's early and this guy was never talked about in even the 2nd round until the combine. Now suddenly he's the 10th best player on the board??

First of all, I don't think we will sit on the last two picks in the first round, we will either trade them both to get in to the top 5 or trade one to get into the top 20. There is no way we draft offense in the first round, there are to many questions at DE to do that.
