Should The Raiders try to get him. Is he a 'Franchise QB? I just can't see Al Davis going for a rookie QB, this late in his quest for the Forth Lombardi. Or wasting draft choices. But the voices are saying that Tui ain't it, and it was Jon who drafted Tui, and now they have brought in Tee Martin. I luv this time of the season, rumors and opinons abound. If we do get Palmer i won't ever warm up to him, cause he's USC & i'm UCLA.

Holy jumpin' Jesus of Palimino where did you hear all that? I mean, the stuff about Tui - the Raiders aren't sold on him? That could really make a difference in what we do with our draft.

I'm not sure about him as our definite QB of the future, but I like him and I think he could possibly be the guy. I'm all for drafting a QB, you can never have too many, but does this mean (if true) that they aren't going to hand the reins over to Tui when Gannon leaves?

I've seen several reports in the media the Raiders are looking for a QB high, which would seem to imply a dissatisfaction with Tui, or perhaps a feeling he's now a "veteran" backup and they want a 3rd-stringer to groom.

But you know how the Raiders always do just what the media expect. Heh.

I was kind of curious about that Tee Martin pickup, too. We KNOW Gannon will be in camp as the undisputed starter, with (hopefully) Tui at #2, the either the 'mighty' bobby hoying or mirer.

Where did you hear that Tui might be on his way out? It would be a major bummer to ship him off before we knew for sure what he had. I was hoping to see him get some time in a regular season game this year.

I don't know diddly about Martin, but hoying and mirer are both welcome, in my opinion, to go away.

Palmer is too much of a reach plus he's going to want David Carr kind of money. Plus we'll have to give up our other #1 as well. Someone like Kyle Boller might be a possibilty in the late first round if he's on the board. If for some reason Al pulls the trigger on a qb, then things could get interesting.

No doubt! I thought we would think about it just for depth and assets, but now maybe we are seeing a different direction for the team. Boller is a guy I like, but damn, poor Tui.

Like we talked about, just to look & read. And its usually an opinon of a few of the posters. Never real fact! But i'm putting it out there, cause WE never know the mind of Al Davis. So when i say 'The Voices" you all will know what i mean.

It not uncommon for the tams to have 4 QB's these days and a few teams last year came close to needing them all. If we draft a QB it won't be till the fifth. I think Tui is pretty well set at #2 and he hasn't done anything to show he's not up to it. He has a great attitude and seems to have come a long well.

Palmer would be great to have and even if cinnci is looking to trade down it would take all our picks or maybe Gannon........WON'T HAPPEN.

This years draft I thinkwe stay where we are or maybe trade down a 1st. Our first pick will be Faine.

We dont have a chance at Boller, hes a top 11 pick for sure now. hes just been tearing it up in front of scouts. He ran a 4.6 40 at the combine.

Grossman might be there, but I doubt it, he has a rocket for a arm.

I know we still got great WR's, but we all know they can't go on forever. What happens if Rice doesn't get up from that hit by Tank at the goaline against TN?? Who's our legit number 4? Marcus Knight? Maybe not the first round, but we need another to compliment Jerry Porter in the future. QB's ain't nothing without someone to catch. Be nice to get someone soon to learn a thing or two from some Hall of Famers.
