There is no "one" answer to solve this slump. Getting rid of Rice, Brown and Gannon is absurd, it won't solve the penalties or lack of tackling and blocking.

The bottom line here is that the Raiders are following a leader that has failed to put his stamp on this team, the team that Gruden built has ran out of emotion and drive.

The writing was on the wall after our SB nightmare and Callahan's failure to move this team in another direction is obvious by the play we are wittnessing on the field.

This teams problems now lie squarely on the shoulders of AL Davis, he has to come down on everyone, starting with Callahan and his ****ed up coaching staff.

The injury alibi is bull****, other teams are sucking it up and playing with some heart with lots of their starters missing.

The play calling and the overall game plans lack any kind of inovation, we cannot win this year with last years strategy, why this is a mystery to Callahan is a mystery to me.

My loyalty to this team will never change but I am no fool. I know when my team is in trouble and isnt playing with any heart or urgency and I will bitch when they are doing bad and I will cheer when they do well. Right now, I want to see some changes because thats the only way we are gonna get back on track. This season isnt getting any younger and our schedule isnt getting any easier. Its not like we can do any worse than we are right now. If we are gonna some moves, now is the time to do so.

There is no ONE answer, sorry Favor, I just disagree about that.

It's been said on several threads, but Gannon, Rice and Brown will NOT be benched, even if they indeed do suck. We gotta try to find wins with them, to think that it will be any other way is truly fantasy, it won't happen. We also won't see Callahan or any other coaches gone until the season is over, even if we don't win another game. Al will change in the offseason. So, for this year, we gotta find a way to win with what we have.

I say, **** it. Run the ball even if we're down by 20. Just run it.

Yeah, except for one time we kept them off of the 10 yards on either end of the field...
It's what We allowed Willie Green to do with the 100 yards of Grass in between that killed us.

I don't think I'll ever throw in the chips...I am walking around with my Raiders AFC champs shirt today - getting some strange looks but what the hell I don't care. Even if we were 0-6 I'd still be wearing same shirt.
We do need to scrap the recent game plans, and run the ball with our committee with some play action pass. After we get the running game back then we can work in the pass more.

I hear ya man....I'm still sportin' the Sunday gear (this week it's Monday gear) and I'll never stop rootin', cheerin', hollarin' or wantin' a win. These are the Raiders, and I won't stop rootin' for 'em until the whistle blows.

(Doesn't mean I won't yell, scream, bitch and moan in the process when thigns don't go our way!)
