Question Best memory of a Raider game?

What one or two games stand out in your mind as some of the best ballgames you've seen?

top five, in no particular order 1980 championship game against the browns. mike davis intercepts in the end zone to save the game and send raiders to the super bowl.

early 80's monday night game against the chargers. second half comeback from 24 down i think it was. loved to stick to fouts, muncie, joiner, winslow, and the rest of em

1983 divisional playoff game against the steelers - marcus allen ran all over them, other than his super bowl run this game had his greatest play ever. plus it remains the only raider playoff game i've been to.

early 90's monday night game in detroit (the barry and bo show), plus marcus played great too. had tickets to drive to this game from chicago, but couldnt miss a midterm exam the next day. still wish i would've just dropped out of the class.

2 or 3 years ago, comeback against the colts in indy. i think we scored 4 straight touchdowns on them - beikert figured out manning's audibles. plus i was watching with a colt fan that talked so much crap in the first half when they were up. i just sat quietly and watched him sink lower and lower in his seat during the second half.

and one more honorable mention was the preseason game against the cardinals last year (madre hill played great), had sex had halftime, partied throughout - i think we won the game by 5 touchdowns. so thrilled for another year (super bowl year it turned out).

Best game Ive seen in recent memory for the raiders was the win over the chiefs to end the 99-00 season.
Not only was it a crazy game that the Raiders won but it kicked the chiefs out of the playoffs ta boot.

If anyone has a copy of this game I would love to get my hands on it.

    I'm a young one so:

MNF 1996 Chiefs v. Raiders: Tons of trash talking, and the Chiefs had owned us for a long time. Harvey Williams was talking, Thomas was talking, I don't remember a game with such hyped up trash talk. Neil Smith said Hos would end up on a stretcher. At the end of the game, Smith AND Thomas were on the sidelines with injuries, the Raiders cruise to 26-7 victory, not even a first down for the Chiefs until the 4th quarter. Rich Gannon gets safetied in the end zone. Utter dominance over a hated team.

Ahh, the memories. Back in 1982, the Chargers were playing the Raiders on MNF. It was the Raiders first home game in LA. My pops and I were watcing the game and with 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter the score was 24-0. I remember my dad yelling at me as he left the room to go to sleep and said "Better get your ass to bed boy. it's late, their getting their asses kicked and it's a school night". Finally, as the second quarter came to a close, the Raiders squeezed in a touchdown making it 24-7 at the half. I stayed up and watched the entire game until the end knowing that the boys could come back and win it. What a game, the Raiders with Jim Plunkett came back and won it 28-24. That is my earliest Raider moment as a kid, and my all time favorite game. I was 8 years old and that game changed me, been bleeding the silver and black ever since.

That game is #8 on the Raiders all time greatest moments list (http://www.raiders.com/history/gm8.jsp). I spent years looking for a copy of the game, I lucked out last year and found it on eBay!

Talking Best Memory of a Raider Game?

I remember at the end of that game Chucky doing a little dance, yelling and screaming like we one the SB! That was extra special, knocking them out of the playoffs and getting that monkey off our back......

That game or the infamous Bo Jackson demolishing Bosworth game are my most recent memorable games.

    Top two:
Super Bowl '81 - the first Raider game I ever saw.
Super Bowl '84 - Jensen's punt block TD starts the blowout.

    No. 3:
The Trek to Mecca '98. The Raiders knock out Elway early before losing - my first and thus far only live Raiders game. More sentimental value than a great game.

Final game if the 93 season. It was against the Donkey's @ the LA Coliseum & the Raiders needed the W to get into the playoffs. I was amoung 68,000 strong that day & were down big @ halftime. But the Silver & Black came roaring back & tied the game on the last play. Hostetler to Alexander Wright. Whoooo. In OT, The jackasses choked & missed a field goal. We got the ball & Jeff Jaeger kicked the game winning field goal that sent us to the playoffs. We played the donks again the following week @ the Coliseum & we beat em down, 42-21. This game just seems so sweet because it was against Elway & the rest of those busters.

    Raiders 4 Life !!
