superbowl loss

Has any team that lost the superbowl come back the next year and won it. I know the phins did it and I think the Cowboys did it. just wondering!

Face it unless your coach changes your whole offensive setup you will never beat the Bucs. Playing your former coach for the superbowl and with a coach that never even changed the line audibles was a worst case scenario for the raiders. Hopefully for all the fans sake your coach will set up his own offense.

Whoah, buddy... Chill out. What's up with the confrontational attitude. This thread really had nothing to do with the Bucs.

Actually our coach really did change the focus of the offense from what Gruden's style was. If the Raiders are going to beat the Bucs, you're right it won't be through the air.

But ****, man, let's see who's left standing after 38 games in 2 years before we start this ****...

We shouldve lined it up, Mo, Sims, Lincoln, Barret, ooppss Adam, Big frank...ram it down their ****ing throats. C'mon garner and wheatley busting it up inside and outside, off guard, off tackle, draw plays, counters, shovel passes.... our o-line with their weight and strength advantage shouldve shove the ****ing ball up their asses! They wouldve had to creep up those LB's and safeties and then rich wouldve been able to do whatever the **** he wanted!

Without BRobb, our OLine was meat. The difference between the #1 rushing offense in the NFL in 2000, and the 3 yards and a pile of dust running offense in 2001 was...........................BROBB.

This was never meant to be confrontational. I was simply stating that the Raiders playing the Bucs with your old coach at the helm was a worst case scenario for the Raiders. Gruden was able to groom the Bucs well enough to pick up on all of the manerisms of his offense and Gannon.
