Actually, I thought Shaw did OK considering he was playing a different position and hadn't really practiced it. I saw him break up a pass down the left side line when we really needed a defensive play to be made. I can see where you all are coming from though, he only had 4 tackles in the game. Granted, he won't be a permanent fixture back there but it could have been worse with Shadeeq back there. Hopefully Dorsett will be healthy enough to play next Monday. He's a much better SS IMO but I'll take him in a heartbeat at this point.

Oh absolutely, I'm NOT saying he's done, or a bust or anything. Just that he has some work to do, he's young and he has very little experience. He'll improve. I was only mentioning that although he came up with a huge, game-turning play, he also had is misscues, that's all.
SHOWTIME will be an extremely good compliment to CWood now and in the future.

I have to agree as well.. CWood didn't get burned like he did in the Tennesse game and although Shaw and Gibson need work.. I'm going to give some props to Nap Harris in his intstrumental tackling skills - but he needs alot of work as well. I did see a few missed tackles from him...and what was up with letting dude walk into the end zone in the 4th quarter?
Anyone see the play where the Bungles had about 3 missed tackles and CWood came from the other end of the field to save the day? I'm not sure what game everyone else was watching, but CWood put it down for us and kept the Bungles from scoring even down to the hail mary interception...
Although our defense has a lot to work on we still managed to hold Mr. Dillon to only 84 yards rushing where as I can't say the same for the team that played the Ravens yesterday... Jamal Lewis with 295 yards???? WTF?? Did everybody just lay down on the field and let him just sprint around the field or what?

I saw the highlights of that game. Damn, the browns defense might as well just stayed their asses back in cleveland that day.
Seeing those highlights at least made me feel a little better about our D
