I'm in complete agreement with your SB predictions - we pull out a close one in a great match vs. The Rams (Good thing they are severely hurting at DB and it will only get worse, but there are no other weaknesses on that team, well, maybe OLB ...) with Garner as the MVP as well.
I see an undefated season for the Silver and Black with a very Merry Christmas AFC Title game vs. Steelers.
The Pats will make some serious noise as well as Carolina ... Bucs fall off with no O.
Napoleon Harris and Eric Barton become the league's premier Linebacker tandem.
Wheatley and Crockett do major damage.

That is a pretty bold statement. I do believe we are going back, but not against the Rams. The Eagles have been too close for too long. They have been cheated out of game just like we have, and they will be there this year.

I'll give a shortened version...

AFC Championship...Oakland over Pittsburgh, 31-20
NFC Championship...Atlanta over NY Giants, 34-13
Super Bowl....Oakland over Atlanta. 30-19
Super Bowl MVP...Jerry Rice (one more time before he retires!)

Picks for the season...
Tommy Maddox will be injured by Week 5...The Squeelers will get an early punch in the mouth for letting Cry-dell go, but will bounce back (only 'cuz they're in a weak division)

LaDanian Tomlinson will rush for over 2K yards...Now that he has Lorenzo Neal in the backfield with him, along with Steriods Boston catching passes, it's gonna be tough to contain him this year.

One of the following players will go down with a career-threatening injury this year....Keyshawn Johnson (I wish), Terrell Owens, Orlando Pace, Marshall Faulk.

Chris Collinsworth will kiss the asses of the Miami Dolphins.
Ron Jaworski will kiss the asses of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Mark Schlereth, Phil Simms, and Tom Jackson will kiss the asses of whoever plays the Raiders.

> Defensive player of the year-Dwight Freenie Indy
> Offensive rookie of the year- Charles Rodgers Detroit
> Defensive rookie of the year- Suggs of Baltimore
> Rushing title winner-LT
> Comeback player of the year- tie- Seau and Chad P
> Each division finish in order(records not necessary)AFC East-
Jets,Phins,Bills,Pats AFC North- Cincy Pitts Ravens Browns, AFC
South-Indy, Jags,Titans, Texans AFC West- Oakland,San Diego,KC,
Denver NFC East-Giants, Philly,Cowboys,Redskins NFC North-
Vikes,Pack,Lions,Bears NFC West- Seahawks,Niners,Rams,Cards NFC South-
Panthers,Tampa,Saints,Falcons
> 2 Wildcard teams for each conference Tampa,PhillyNFC wild cards, and Fins and Steelers in AFC...

My Yahell picks.... Sapp and Freeney are interchangeable, Freeney 11 sacks and 9 fumbles forced despite not starting almost half the season. Sapp contract year has lost Weight and the D upgraded support in Rudd.Defense will be the story with big plays.

Tampa makes wild card, cools off late as Brad.J gets rocked in the south with tough D's everywhere and Delhomme wins division over his old Saints with Peppers eating people up.Weeek 17 Tampa loses first place.
If Jags start Lefthwich week one they make wild card, otherwise the make second place, the Titans gave up some O line help in the middle of line on O and Mcnair likes to run too much.Dungy has an MVP caliber pass rusher to make his d click, Edge looks back, the O line is solid and the guys believe in Payton and DUngy's D schemes after seeing it win everything.
Vikes win NFC Domefield and make superbowl, Dante lessens mistakes and the #1 yardage O wins with Moss getting MVP stats (wish I had kept him in yahoo but I needed rb help)...
Seahawks have easiest schedule, will be a home team round two and lose.Sapp will get the bandwagon rolling to Vike country and Moss will rent out Rhonde for brotherly kisses like Tiki did.
The Barber Bros are the two twins in Gummo who sell candybars door to door (Teasin' em' with the money)

Chad and Seau have injury comebacks, each lead their team over perhaps the strongest two teams in the conference Per man everywhere but 1 skill spot. The Pats qb will continue to fold under pressure, the Bills HB does the same. Both are fumble prone and will get shown up more often than not.

The North is interesting, Boller finally showing deep pass ability, but if Billik goes pass heavy it will limit his team's strong defense . The guy can hail bombs but isnt a patient execution ball control qb.7-9 to 9-7 range.
Steelers get run up on points like a driveby. Cowher will win a wild card and Mularkey will trick play them into loss when it counts. Tommy gun will not last.Lose enough to give division lead to my Pick for coach of year Marv Lewis(GO TORY!).
The Browns have some unknown lb speed and will surprise, their top picks couch and brown are busts who are cap hits and DeBartalo gave self raise while firing their players... at least their coach and players will fight for the fans and make some noise on O. Not enough to win late, cold weather will cause its share of troubles for Butch's pass heavy scheme in the North.

Everyone takes it as a given the Titans make it, like only if they let people throw passes on kickoffs... every year 2 teams do not make playoffs again per conference... titans turn. They have fought their ass off like we have only to see other teams go on. Their chance was a yard away.

Ours is still there, new blood will keep us strong on special teams returns and red zone (Fargas and Teyo). Our D added line talent we need for run and pass sets. ROMO is already kicking ass getting pshyched ...

My predictions. There will be 17 weeks of games followed by playoffs followed by a SuperBowl betwe
