Sounds like Mikens may be doing some damage control. I for one think when things are said players take it personally and it adds fuel to the fire a fire that;s already burning pretty good inside the Raiders. More than one player has said how upset they are about being considered second class to the YETS. They are the hottest team etc. then you have YETS saying they are cheap shot artists etc only makes a player want to disprove them all wrong. Raider players have said somethings also so I'm sure there will be more than one YET fired up as well besides the usual intensity for a playoff game. It's shaping up to be a classic but sometimes just when you think it will be epic it ends up being a oneside affair. Heres hoping if it is onesided it's onesided to the Silver and Black side.

As for Mickens comment - I agree with him -- how many times you see teams talk smack back and forth all week and one teams goes out and sucks up the place? the team that comes out and executes wins -- you forget all that talk once you are on the field...no way players are on the sideline looking at formations, talking to coaches, and making adjustments while also going over quotes from the previous week to get excited.
